A-Level theatre trip

A-level drama pupils attended their first theatre trip of the autumn term. They went to see ‘Kings’ at the New Diorama Theatre.

The play addressed the ever-growing subject of homelessness in London and the issues surrounding the plight of the people who find themselves in the unfortunate position. However the play also adds a magical element to the topic, creating a dynamic and alternative view on the issues.

The students found the naturalism of the acting and the dynamic set designs to be a truly unique experience. The studio theatre in the heart of London is an intimate venue, creating a very personal and engaging performance space.
