Astrum Education are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Vanni as Head Master of Kensington Park School. Paul is currently the Deputy Head of St Paul’s Girls’ School and will join many of his former colleagues from both St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Girls’ School already teaching at KPS.
Paul is passionate about education, and having spent his entire life in London schools is deeply attuned to what London pupils and parents want.
He was educated at Latymer Upper School and University College London, obtaining a first class honours degree and a Masters in French literature. After a year teaching English at the Sorbonne, Paul gained his PGCE at the University of Cambridge and in 1998 joined the staff of St Paul’s School where he spent thirteen very happy years as a teacher, tutor, rowing coach and ultimately head of the Modern Languages department.
He joined St Paul’s Girls’ School in 2011 as Deputy Head and Director of School, overseeing every aspect of school life; all the while, however, he has continued to teach and remains committed to excellence in the classroom.
Paul is also a governor at Glendower Preparatory School and the Hammersmith Academy, an ISI schools’ inspector and co-writes the Cambridge Pre-U Italian examinations.
