Last week at Kensington Park School we were delighted to host the session in the London Parents Forum series called, ‘Applying to US universities’, organised by Bonas Macfarlane.
The guest speaker was Seamus Malin, US admissions consultant and previous Director of the Harvard University International Office.
16 of the world’s top universities are located in North America. As a result of this fact, students have become increasingly interested in the university programmes on offer. The vast differences between the US and UK application processes mean that careful planning and research is essential.
During the talk, drawing on his extensive Harvard admissions experience, Seamus advised parents on the application process to stand the best chance of entering a US university, the timeline of events, and how to make an application stand out.
