Easter Revision courses can dramatically improve students’ subject knowledge and confidence, helping them to achieve their full academic potential. The Astrum Easter Revision programme provides a systematic approach to revision which, in turn, gives students the motivation and support they need.
The key aspects of exam preparation that the Easter Revision courses focus on are:
- Consolidating knowledge and understanding
- Planning a systematic approach to revision
- Developing and sustaining confidence
- Employing effective examination technique
- Devising a personal revision programme for the run-up to the exams
Students can study an individual AS or GCSE subject intensively for 20 hours per week during either the mornings or afternoons. Students wanting to combine two subjects or revise for a full A-Level can study for 40 hours per week during both the mornings and afternoons.
Humanity subjects, such as English, History and Philosophy, are usually taught as seminars, either one-to-one or in very small groups for slightly reduced hours. This method is more beneficial for student taking these types of subjects.
All tuition takes place at our colleges in Chelsea, South Kensington and Bayswater.
